Do you want to perform research in the Arnesen lab?

 

We are looking for talented students (Bachelor, Master, ERASMUS, PhD) and Postdoctoral Fellows interested in N-terminal acetylation. A strong background in  biochemistry, molecular biology and/or cell biology is desired.

  1. Send a cover letter stating your research interest, relevant coursework, and research experience to Thomas Arnesen (thomas.arnesen[at].uib.no) and mark e-mail with "Position in Arnesen Lab"

  2. For prospective Master students go to the University of Bergen website for application information for the Master's Programme in Molecular Biology at the Department of Biological Sciences or the Master's Programme in Biomedical Science at the Department of Biomedicine.

  3. For prospective PhD students, send an email to discuss possible projects and funding.

  4. For prospective PostDocs begin to think about potential independent funding sources for your research, such as EMBO, FEBS, and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions
